So there were  families you have been teaching, one whose father who was killed by gang members and another has a both parents correct? both families were sad and forlorn and now have hope and are progressing, right?

Inauguration was today, I am going to watch it tomorrow without commercials:)

P 90 X I love the work outs--there is no better combination than running and P 90 X keep it up, make it a habit. it takes 21 consecutive days to make it start to be ingrained in you.

We sent you a voice message; Erin is not in it because she is not here. She is at a basketball game. She started piano lessons with Sister Hansen. Sister Hansen is the organist for our ward, an accomplished pianist. The Hansen's moved in right when you left. They are a great family, in fact one of their sons, Austin would have been a great friend. Austin loves to hunt, ride motor cycles etc. In fact dad has taken him hunting and 4 wheeling a couple of times.

I went on a hike to Zions( I considered it part of my therapy, the doctor said I needed to walk and, but not run) after getting my hair cut at Patty's on Tuesday. Teryl Littel ended up coming with me. It was a perfect day. Teryl has a heart condition where her heart is out of rhythm so she could go too fast or too hard. We went to emerald pools, so pretty. Afterward we went to eat at Oscars, so yummy, I would love to show you it when you get home. It is near Angel's landing. So much prettier, and a lot easier hike, here are some photos.

Love mom💓💓💓

Wow mom! You make Zions park look really good! That's awesome that you have been able to get out work enjoy walking and hiking! During my mission I have been learning to love walking as well.. But we usually walk at a jogging pace to try to get from cita to cita. This week has been amazing!  We have had up and downs, Hold ups, and break-throughs. I never knew that it is possible to feel so tired and to be so happy and content at the same time!  This past Sunday the familia Ceballos came to the church for the first time! it was great for them and our ward received them very well. They have been progressing and working to change their schedule to also be able to attend church this coming Sunday! its been tough for them because the children study in  a catholic school that study on the Sabbath day and they have been searching for a solution that would help them be able to attend church and be active! They are preparing to be baptized during the first week of Febrero. We have also been visiting the familia villa lobos bran! they are a great family who also recently lost 2 family members in street violence! We have been able to teach them about eternal families! I am so thankful to know that heavenly father has prepared such a perfect plan for us and our happiness! There are so many that are searching for relief and hope and to be able to serve them and help them become acquainted with those truths is a humbling experience!  This week  we had a cool experiences when one of our lessons fell through. We were walking to our back up plan and My companion and I walked past a woman standing in her door. I felt as if we should talk to her as we walked past but we continued. I mentioned it to my companion and he too felt that we should go back, so turned around and contacted her. Later in the evening we visited her whole family. They are the familia Morales and they are great! They have been committed to come to church this week! We are excited for them!

Hey mama! estoy muy bien la verdad! ¡Hemos tenido una buena semana y hemos visto tantos milagros! Que me alegra que estas aprendiendo espanol..realmente es algo que yo quiero seguir aprendiendo despues de la mision!
This week we have had so many miracles! I figured out why my messages have not been sending. it is just a bunch of viruses that are on sd cards. This one should work out! Let me know if it doesnt work! but this week we have been great! I hope that you continue to recover well of your operation. We have been praying for you! Recently we have been really focusing on helping a Family called the Familia Ceballos. They are doing great! When we found them they were very disheartened and sad because the father had recently been killed. They are invited us in and started asking about the plan of salvation. It is the mother with her 5 children! they have been progressing greatly and seen so many miracles since they started listening our message and living gospel principles! Yesterday we visited them and I realized that they have changed so much! I love the gospel and the promise that we can find peace and purpose if we act and as we allow Our savior to succor us through his infinite atonement!

Ps sorry..ha ha. the photo with the scale is a picture we took for a missionary weighing himself with his luggage in his hands to make sure that he didn't have to pay a baggage fee!

I am now 16% proficient in Spanish according to Duolingo program. I practice a little each day:)
My operation went well with no complications:) They took the right lobe of my tumor out because it was suspicious. They analyzed it during surgery and found it benign. :). I took off a week and a half of work. So dad took off work until Tuesday so he could "take care of me" He has been sleeping in until 10:00-11:00 am and running "errands" with Jim. It was perfect timing for Dad to use his "sick" leave and "take care of me" He has been milking it for all it is worth. I am doing very well, there is no need for him to take any more work off. I really only needed him the day of surgery. So they started surgery at 3:00 pm and I was able to go home by 7:00 pm.
I went on a walk the next day and a long walk today. Jim, dad and I went to the temple tonight and did some initatories. Jim spent the whole day Tuesday and did  endowments and some initiatories.
I am sure dad told you that Ronnie Keller passed away today. He was not feeling very well for a long time. I went and visited the Keller's last year, they were staying here in st. George for a couple of months. Even back then, Ronnie wasn't feeling well. He didn't even feel well enough to go out to lunch. So I think it is so good for him to leave, just sad for his family.

Erin has  new sport that she has been taking up called wiggle boarding. They wiggle board in Snow Canyon. She is taking after you--skipping classes that are pointless to be in.
